Albuquerque Rose Garden
located in Albuquerque, New Mexico

This garden is actually located at the Wyoming Regional Library in Albuquerque and is administered by the Albuquerque Rose Society, who have been in existence since 1948 and whose mission is to promote appreciation of and educate the public on the rose. Although the rose garden has existed since 1962, in the 90s they underwent a massive rennovation right before an American Rose Society National Convention came into town.

There are over 1200 rose bushes in 30 classes and 500 cultivars, with different areas of the garden being sectioned out for the different types. The new garden includes a shade structure, a 70 foot long pergola, trellises, arches, picnic tables and benches, and raised planting beds. Complementing the many roses are xeric plantings and daylilies, as well as pear and willow trees.
