This is the largest public urban arboretum area in Arizona and is located on the campus of ASU in Tempe. It was established in 1990. It features the largest collection of public date palms in N. America and is the selected site of the All American Selections Display Garden for Arizona. The 750 acre spread of the arboretum encompasses the campus and features tons of desert trees, deciduous trees, evergreens, cacti, succulents, roses, annuals, perennials, xeriscape, and tropical plants on display and for research.
