Astors' Beechwood Mansion
located in Newport, Rhode Island

Beechwood was originally built in 1851 for a New York City merchant named Daniel Parrish, but was purchased a few years later by William Backhouse Astor, Jr. the son of John Jacob Astor (who in his time was the richest man in America). Today the mansion and grounds are open for tours to the public - please check the calender on their site for the exact times. The ocean-front property contains a rose garden area and expansive lawns.

Astors' Beechwood is available for wedding rental - the ceremony takes place indoors inside the mansion, but the rose gardens and ocean view lawns are favorite places to take photos.
