Botanical Garden of the Ozarks
located in Fayetteville, Arkansas 

This is a relatively new botanical garden next to Lake Fayetteville that opened in 2007 and is still in the planting stages. There is a large horticultural center (A. Totemeier), a plaza, great lawn, wildflower meadow, and nine different gardens (ea. 2000 sq ft) including a children's garden, four seasons garden, sensory, herb and vegetable garden, Rock Garden, Water Garden, Ozark Native species garden and rose and perennial gardens.

When completed it will span 86 acres and include boat rental facilities, an amphitheatre, exhibits, a cafe, education center, conservatory and numerous hiking and biking trails. The various attractions are being added in phases. Eventually, it will also include a large 50 acre area for native plant restoration as well as interpretive walks.
