Chesapeake Arboretum
located in Chesapeake, Virginia 

The focus of the Chesapeake Arboretum is horticultural and environmental awareness. These newer gardens (1996) span 47 acres and feature mature hardwoods including oak, pine, beech, maple and dogwood. Trails lead throughout the garden where visitors can view the wonderful trees. In addition, the arboretum also holds several yearly events on the grounds like a Garden Party and Walk-a-thons. The headquarter center also has several themed displays, like a fragrance garden and rose garden.
