Elko County Rose Garden
located in Elko, Nevada

This is a relatively new garden that focuses on roses that are hardy enough to withstand the harsh and varying winters in northeast Nevada. This is a community supported garden which was begun in 2000 by the Elko Rose Garden Association. It's currently located behind the county courthouse in that town.

There are numerous different types and varieties and roses already planted in this small garden, the first of which were "Dr. Buck roses". The plan was to introduce over 10 years many different varieties including: Canadian, David Austin English, German, French, Scandanavian, UK and US rose varieties.
