Greatwood Gardens of Goddard
located in Plainfield, Vermont
Goddard College is actually located entirely on the former Greatwood Farms estate which can be traced back to early 1900s. Today the Greatwood Gardens include the gardens plus the house that was a part of the estate. It's listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Some of the different features include Boxwood hedges, Water gardens and walled gardens. The garden is undergoing restoration, so you may want to call ahead and check availability.
