Inniswood Metro Gardens
located in Westerville,
Ohio
This is current a 123(?) acre botanical and nature preserve area that is part of the Columbus, Ohio system of metro parks. It was originally owned by Grace and Mary Innis, two sisters who were garden enthusiasts. In the 70s they donated their home and estate (37 acres at the time) to the park system for use as a botanical garden.
There are actually a multitude of different themed gardens in the park including a Rose garden, Herb Garden, and Rock garden. As far as plants species goes there are over 2000, with some of the notables including peonies, daylilies, hostas, daffodils and iris. In 2002, the "Sisters' Garden" was added in order to honor the Innis sisters. Woodland trails also wind throughout the garden, with occasional natural wildflower displays.
Inniswood's full name is Inniswood Botanical Garden and Nature Preserve. They do have some sort of facility for both weddings and
wedding photography, most of which take place in the Rose Garden, but you need to contact them for more info and availability.
