Jesse Hepler Lilac Arboretum
located in Durham, New Hampshire 

The arboretum is part of the University of New Hampshire Plant Biology Dept. and features mostly collections of lilacs, which are the state flower of New Hampshire. The garden is named after a UNH horticulture professor, Jesse Hepler (he also has a lilac variety named after him). At last count, there were more than 100 varieties of lilacs on the campus in 7 color classes.
