Kimball-Jenkins Estate
located in Concord, New Hampshire
This was originally the private mansion and estate of the Kimball family of Concord from 1765. Throughout the years, it was passed down through the family but in 1981 Carolyn Jenkins left the entire estate to a non-profit group with the express wish that it be used for artistic education. Because of that, the Kimball-Jenkins School of Art is now run from the estate grounds. Besides providing art classes and education, there are three exhibition galleries located on the estate that focus on regional as well as national art.
Over the years, various members of the family surrounded the homes and outbuildings with wonderful formal gardens. Today, the gardens are often used for wedding receptions and other events. The galleries are available for wedding rental as well. Contact the estate for more information.
