Peel Mansion Museum and Gardens
located in Bentonville, Arkansas

This wonderful old villa tower Italianate Mansion of Colonel Samuel West Peel was built in 1875 and was a working farmstead which included 180 acres of apple trees. Today the mansion is a museum furnished with antiques and artifacts of the period from the Historic Arkansas Museum and the Old State House. There is also a pre-Civil War Andy Lynch Log Cabin that was moved to the area from Brightwater which now houses the gift shop and functions as the gatehouse to the grounds.

The grounds surrounding the house have also been reconstructed as a heritage garden with historical 19th century plantings of roses, perennials and other native plants. The vignette gardens with walkways and shady areas are a great setting for the museum.

The Peel Mansion Museum & Heritage Gardens is also available for rental for weddings and other events like parties and reunions. Areas available include the Carriage House (100-110 seated) or Conservatory (50 seated, 75 standing). The Harvest Kitchen, Butler's Pantry and the South Porch are included with both of these rentals. Please contact the facility for more information.
