It's rather hard to find information on this Desert Arboretum named after Robert L. Shepherd. It's located in the town of Santa Clara in Utah. Shepherd was a resident of the area and was instrumental in the creation of this arboretum which focuses on plants and trees that live in the arid desert landscape. The arboretum includes paths that wind around lava flows.

According to a fan page, the arboretum is located off of Canyon View Drive near baseball diamonds, though the road is not named. The arboretum is not large and should be viewable is less than an hour.
